Dear Classmates,

Do you know what day yesterday was? Not only was it the first day of Spring (for those of us north of the Equator), it was the 79th day of 2021!

This last year has been quite a journey for all of us, and as we (hopefully) see the light at the end of the tunnel, the Class of '79 asks you to take a moment to think about the even greater challenges that today's undergraduates have faced, and consider making a gift to this year's Annual Giving Campaign. Your donation helps to support one of the most robust financial aid programs in the country. The Class of '79 has taken a special interest in helping those undergrads who identify as First Generation/Low Income and has established a mentoring program that we hope will continue to flourish long after we're gone. Annual Giving also helps to support the academic and extra-curricular activities that have made Princeton "the best damn place of all". Nearly 42 years after our graduation from the finest university in the nation (so says the U.S. News and Report, repeatedly), we're both fortunate and proud to be Princeton alums. So in recognition of our special 79th day, please give what you can.
