strategist, writer and Latino politics expert David Ayón, Senior Fellow
of the Center for the Study of Los Angeles, faculty lecturer at Loyola
Marymount University and University of California, Berkley, and Foreign
Affairs Latinoamérica editorial board member, discusses his historical
study of the evolution of Latino empowerment and leadership from its
beginnings in Los Angeles through its future potential, in an interview
conducted by Donna Hill Staton, Esq.

has taught at three University of California campuses, Stanford, and
USC; was twice a Visiting Research Fellow at the Center for US-Mexico
Studies of UC San Francisco; served on the board of the US-Mexico
Foundation; and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and its
term membership committee. His work has appeared in 15+ edited books and
multiple other publications in the US and Mexico. | • | Donna,
whose long list of leadership accomplishments in both public and
private organizations has put her on the list of Maryland’s Top 100
Women (twice) and garnered numerous other awards, is the co-founder of
Decision Point Strategy Group and Decision Point law. A former law firm
