Dear Classmates, For
those of you attending Alumni Day on Saturday February 19, there will
be no traditional luncheon in Jadwin. I have reserved a private dining
room at the Nassau Club (on Mercer St, across the street from Holder).
This will be a class luncheon with great food in a most elegant setting. The
room seats as many as 24 but I’d like to limit the number to 16 so we
are not jammed together. The luncheon will be paid by the Class. Please
let me know by email, if you would like to attend the luncheon and I’ll keep a list and coordinate with the club. On
a related topic, our class dues cover the administrative expenses of
our class as well as organized events. The events have been mostly held
(or even all been held) in Princeton or New York. For the majority who
live elsewhere, I encourage you to organize events and promote them as
free events. Our financial position is strong and it would be great to
use funds to bring classmates together. If
you haven’t attended Alumni Day, it is a great event. One of the key
speakers is the Nobel Peace Prize recipient this year, the second alum
to win the Peace Prize. Guess who the other recipient is! Here’s the
Alumni Day link See you then! Phil Hueber, President, Class of 1979
