CLASS OF '79
27th REUNION
June 1 - 4, 2006

We were bunked with the Class of '81's 25th in Wilson Courtyard. The rains were furious Thursday and Friday night, but Friday daytime was fine and the Alumni-Faculty fora were once again excellent. I attended several. Saturday morning the rain was again ferocious, but, as if on command, it stopped at 1 PM and we were dry for the P-rade. Attendance, especially for the off-year classes, was lower than usual, for which we blame the rain, but we had a total of 34 classmates signed in or spotted in the crowd. The full list is below. We will forgive Chris Loughran and Steve Tishman for their misguided allegiance to their wives' 25th Reunion class this year.

Special Kudos go to Tom Olausson who traveled the farthest to attend Reunions (Stockholm, Sweden) and returned to campus for the first time since graduation. When asked why he came to the 27th as his first reunion, he replied "It was time."

There was a class lunch Saturday on the Wilcox Terrace. Fortunately, '81 was kind enough to provide a tent; otherwise we would have had very soggy sandwiches.
