FLI Tigers & Friends Mentorship Program

A Note from Classmate Tony Rodriguez '79:

Dear Classmates,

Princeton is in the midst of planning and launching this year's summer mentoring program for FLi (First Generation/Low Income) students. The program has been modified so that you can complete the mentorship during the summer break, but you are welcome to continue it during the academic year, and even beyond! Our class launched this program in 2019 as our 40th reunion Class Legacy Project and we continue to lead the alumni volunteer group mentoring these amazing students. We are now beginning our 8th year!

This year's program is open for registration so you can sign up using this FLI Tigers & Friends link.

Will you be attending Reunions later this month? There will be a reception on Friday, May 22nd from 4:30-6PM in the Mathey Residential College Common Room (known to us as downstairs in "Commons"). You can show up for it with no need to register.

For those of you who are interested in mentoring Princeton students, please also consider getting involved with mentoring members of our Grandchild Class of 2029 when relevant opportunities arise in the future. We will broadcast events that involve engaging with the Class of 2029 in a variety of ways.

Lastly, feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about either of these valuable mentoring initiatives.

Thank you and may you enjoy our 47th Reunion later this month.

🧡🐅🖤
