Finding Judge Crater
A Conversation with Steve Riegel
After a summer hiatus, our '79 Authors & Artists Series will return on September 24 at 11:30 ET, when we host Steve Riegel, who will talk with Bruce Petersen and our audience about his book “Finding Judge Crater. ” The Wall Street Journal’s reviewer reveled in this revisiting of a “tantalizing” case from Jazz era NYC, noting that Steve spins “a good yarn and ...even provides his own credible solution to the mystery at the end.” Read the book and come join the discussion – or just come and hear how Steve found time away from his successful career as a litigator and federal prosecutor in NYC to follow the trail of this famous cold case through Tammany Hall and around old NYC.
